The Image is of a Palestinian woman wearing the traditional "Thob" dress, full of handmade embroidery "Tatreez". This dress and head jewelry was mostly worn by brides during traditional wedding ceremonies. Palestinian women are known to be resilient. They show up for life no matter what. They create life everywhere they go. This is what this painting aims to show.
